Every Friday I feature five of the best products, services or books to have come my way in the past week. Here goes!
#1 HotCoolWear clothing
Is it hot in here, or is it just me? (This is a heat-inducing phrase that no cool Middle Ageless gal should ever use in public.) If being hot is part of your day or night, just check out this website for really cool, comfortable duds from HotMama. Lots of practical and pretty items, many made from bamboo and cotton.
#2 Pocket-size tissue holders in silver or gold
Fess-up, oh elegant one. How often do you need to dab your nose, and find yourself raking around in your evening purse for a scrunched-up, sometimes used (yuk) tissue? These pretty holders are available from cloversilverlake for a mere $10. Click on the image on their home page and you will be invited to either call or email them to place an order. Well worth the effort to never slip up in the classy lady department.
#3 The perfect jacket for spring (but I don't wear mine this way...)
I bought this jacket from Ann Taylor for $198. It is absolutely stunning and made from a fabulous, lightweight cotton/silk blend. Inside is an asymmetrical zipper. This jacket is so versatile. Try leaving the jacket open, with belt untied, push up the sleeves to your elbows and flip that amazing collar up around your neck. Wear over a short skirt and tights if you still have killer legs, or pants/jeans for instant model chic that shouts I'M STILL IN THE GAME!!!
#4 100% Pure Organic Pink Grapefruit Body Butter
I am completely in love with this product! It is just so rich, has a light, grapefruit scent, and contains no "iffy" chemicals. Loaded with antioxidants as well. (And don't forget that a recent study showed that the aroma of grapefruit makes us seem 10 or so years younger...) The butter has a solid texture as opposed to a more loose, creamy feel (think melted butter that's firmed up again), and is great for elbows, knees and heels. Cost $18 US from the 100% Pure website.
Organic, unrefined butters of Shea and Mango, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Oils of Mango, Cabernet Grapeseed and Blackcurrant, Vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate), Vitamin E (a-tocopherol), Extracts of Raspberry, Rosemary, Grapefruit Seed, Blueberry, Strawberry, Blackberry and Lemon, Organic Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil.
#5 Numi Rooibos Tea
If you mosey over to the Numi website, you probably won't get any work done for the day. Just look at their "flowering teas" or fantasize you're drinking a cup of Chocolate Puerh... I love this Rooibos tea. It contains more antioxidants than green tea. Here's what I use it for:
* to drink - twice a day
* as a final rinse for my hair
* to spray on the face before and after LED treatments
* To rinse my mouth after cleaning my teeth, for healthy gums.

Love that jacket, trés chic. And ohmigod I need to smother myself in grapefruit body butter if it makes me seem 10 years younger!
Lol. I saw this jacket in one of the magazines worn as I described it. It looked so casually chic that I had to "invest." It goes with everything, and feels beautiful and light.
I really like the tissue holders, and I have tried Rooibos tea, it is quite good! :)

Rosina! Did I see you leaving the "haunt" today with your daughter? Have you lost weight girl? About this post. (I always come home eager to read what's in your Friday's Five column.) I just love that jacket. It's not that expensive really when you think about investment dressing. Does it just come in the beige? Why am I asking this? I should just go and check it out. Thanks for another great read.
Hi Salvador, I was there today yes, with Dawn. Where were you? Yes again, I lost 9 pounds. I'm glad it shows. The jacket comes in a pale off white with a slightly warm tone to it. It's a beautiful colour...
