No, they aren't anti-aging but they will keep you smiling and elevate those cheeks! Over the past year, a few people have asked me what breed Candy is and where to find a Coton puppy. Well, here are three extra gorgeous Coton pups, L'il Snowdrop (female), L'il Shining Star (male) and Autumn Leaf (male). They are nine weeks old, from exceptional bloodlines, paper trained, affectionate and non-shedding.
The Coton du Tuléar is a relatively new introduction to North America. Known as the Royal Dog of Madagascar, they are a happy, comical and easy-going breed with fabulous, soft cottony fur. They weigh on average 11 pounds when grown and generally live between 14 and 17 years, which is quite long for a canine. Showdogs look like this:
These three pups have a little bit of a sad story and are already celebrities for the "wrong" reason. When they were just six weeks, and not yet weaned, their mother, Nisga'a, slipped her leash and bolted into a field. She has not yet been found, despite a massive poster and media campaign. My friend, Sonya, is heartbroken and is of two minds as to whether to keep L'il Snowdrop. (So if you are at all interested, and you live within the Lower Mainland area, or can travel to pick a puppy up, please move fast... these little angels really need one-on-one attention as they have so much love to give).
The pups are $3,000 CD each. When I bought Candy, nine years ago, I took out a small loan. She has been worth this a million times over as this breed really is something special. You know where to contact me...
