Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers! Thank you so much for returning to this blog, and for all the kind emails and messages. May you and your families be blessed with the best of health and much happiness...
(And to my readers all over the world, but especially those from the US who also celebrate Thanksgiving, here's something interesting: Apparently, the reason we celebrate a month before Americans is because this far north, the days are colder and the harvest traditionally earlier. (Since our Thanksgiving is also reflective of the UK's Harvest Festival, in early fall, our celebration is held the second Monday in October.)
